Netherland first country in the word to have all electric train running on wind power

Have we ever thought what would happen if fossil fuel like petroleum and coal are finished?

Have we imagined how much pressure we are putting on earth by digging fossil fuel out of the earth? when we burn fossil fuel, we release greenhouse gasses into our environment which affects us adversely. Ozone layer which protects us from infrared rays is getting depleted by greenhouse gasses resulting a rise in temperature and melting the glacier at a fast pace.

When we burn fossil fuel, we release greenhouse gasses into our environment which affects us adversely. Ozone layer which protects us from infrared rays is getting depleted resulting in rising in temperature and melting the glacier at a fast pace.

Imagine if we find an alternate source of energy replacing fossil fuel and run our all machines the way we are running with electricity currently.

Yes, Wind is another source of energy which can be utilized to produce electricity and replace petroleum and gas. In the coastal areas or the windy area installing large wind fans and running turbines generates electricity.

Netherland has gone one step ahead in wind power generation. Netherlands has done a commendable job in producing green energy.

All the electric trains in Netherlands are running on wind energy. Since January 1 all the electric trains in Netherlands are running on wind energy producing 1.2 billion kWh of electricity a year. This is equal to the energy needed for all the household in the Dutch capital Amsterdam.

600,000 passenger daily travel in these trains. This is the first complete train system which runs on wind energy.

The project was started in 2015 and set to be complete in 2018, however, Duch achieved this landmark one year ahead of scheduled date.

Running the wind turbine for one hour train runs for 120 Km at the speed of 160 KM/ hour. Dutch electricity company Eneco plans to increase the efficiency of the wind farm by 30% and running more kilometer with one hour of wind power.

Netherland has been using wind power for centuries for its agriculture activities like water harvesting and seed grinding.

India which has third largest railway network and has favorable geographic conditions for wind farming can use this technology to boost its railway network and develop an alternate source of energy.

If some amount of money is being invested in wind energy following Dutch model as compared to large sum of money is being invested nearly 60 billion USD for the bullet train, this would definitely pay dividend in future.

A quick guide to India Goods and services Tax rates in 2017

GST is levied on all transactions such as sale, transfer, purchase, barter, lease, or import of goods and/or services. India adopted a dual GST model, meaning that taxation is administered by both the Union and State Governments. Transactions made within a single state will be levied with Central GST (CGST) by the Central Government and State GST (SGST) by the government of that state. For inter-state transactions and imported goods or services, an Integrated GST (IGST) is levied by the Central Government. GST is a consumption-based tax, therefore, taxes are paid to the state where the goods or services are consumed not the state in which they were produced. IGST complicates tax collection for State Governments by disabling them to collect the tax owed to them directly from the Central Government. Under the previous system, a state would have to only deal with a single government in order to collect tax revenue.
